Gert Boysen
Gert Boysen (born April 28, 1938 in Kiel ) is a German CDU politician .
Life and politics
Gert Boysen is a trained journalist and from 1973 headed the press office of the CDU parliamentary group . He was previously the spokesman for the CDU Hamburg regional association. In addition, he was independent of his mandate CDU parliamentary group spokesman and gave up his office at the end of February 2001 after reaching the age limit .
From 1966 to 1993 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament . During this time he worked for a long time on the culture committee. Until reunification , he was also the spokesman for Germany’s political affairs for the Union parliamentary group and co-initiator of the twinning between Hamburg and Dresden . As a member of parliament, he sat in the NDR broadcasting council and was its chairman in 1978/79. After leaving the citizenry he became a member of the deputation in the cultural authority.
