Gert von Klass , partly also written by Klaß (born February 3, 1892 in Oels , † 1971 in Schleswig ), was a German business journalist , writer and screenwriter . He was the commissioned biographer of the Krupp and Stinnes families .

Life

Klass came from Odenthal and was commissioned by the Friedrich Krupp company in Essen for the commemorative publication for the company's 150th anniversary in 1961, among other things. In connection with his biography of Stinnes, Spiegel characterized him as a maker of whitewashing industrial biographies . In the case of Stinnes, for example, the problematic aspects of his life are missing. He has written numerous publications in the field of business journalism .
