Gertraud Ellinger-Binder (born January 20, 1938 in Heilbronn ; also Gertraut Ellinger-Binder ) is a German painter and draftsman .

Life

From 1957 to 1961 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with Gollwitzer , Schellenberger and Yelin . In 1961 she passed the state examination for artistic teaching. She lives in Stuttgart .

Ellinger's pictorial work is committed to the tradition of Swabian landscape painting. Since 1965, solo exhibitions of her paintings have mainly been shown in Heilbronn. In the context of art in architecture , she has also carried out work on public buildings, mainly glass mosaics and glass windows, etc. a. in the Wildbad health care facility (1959), in the Maichingen primary school (1960), in the Holzgerlingen funeral hall (1961) and in the Christ Church in Heilbronn (1963). She also designed a field for the Güglinger Palm Cloth (1988).

She is a member of the Heilbronn Artists' Association . Several of their works have been bought by the public sector, including a. from the city of Heilbronn, from the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Culture and from the state of Baden-Württemberg.
