Gertrud Papendick

Gertrud Papendick (born March 28, 1890 in Königsberg (Prussia) , † April 6, 1982 in Hamburg ) was a German teacher and writer .

Life

In addition to her school service in Königsberg, she wrote short stories in anthologies , magazines and in the Ostpreußenblatt . Like their books, they related to East Prussian motifs. Her East Prussian equestrian song was sung long after the Second World War . She wrote many articles for the features section of the Königsberger Allgemeine Zeitung .

From 1947 to 1951 she was vice rector in Uelzen .

She died in Hamburg at the age of 92.
