Gertrud von Tegerfelden

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gertrud von Tegerfelden († after 1200 ) was the eighth abbess of the free worldly Buchau women's monastery in what is now Bad Buchau am Federsee .

Gertrud von Tegerfelden followed Tuta in a controversial election against Lukarda . Her election was confirmed by the Holy See within a year and then rejected. Gertrud is probably related to the bishop of Constance Konrad II of Tegerfelden, who was reigning at the same time, and Ulrich von Tegerfelden , the bishop of Chur and abbot of St. Gallen , also from the Tegerfelden family of Aargau . Your coat of arms from the repertory of 1605 and 1777 - a human figure in a shield divided into three parts between red, green and blue - is a fantasy coat of arms .
