Gesù Buon Pastore is a Roman Catholic titular deaconry and parish church in the Roman quarter of Ardeatino .

history

The parish was founded on February 6, 1937 by a decree by Cardinal Vicar Francesco Marchetti Selvaggiani . The crypt was built in 1950. After that, the church interior was not built above it until 1957, when the financing was secured. The church consecration took place on March 18, 1959 by the Roman auxiliary bishop Luigi Traglia .

The church was founded on March 10, 1963 by Pope John XXIII. and visited on December 12th by Pope John Paul II .

On May 3, 1985 she was raised to title diaconia.
