Career history of the members
Rainer Baur founded the variety band Music Circus in 1974 . The band was engaged in clubs and hotels across Europe on a monthly basis. In 1990 Baur founded a DJ and musician placement agency.
After the band broke up, Helmuth Treichel became a member of various groups (Route 66, Cor, Mephisto, Walrus), ended his active music career in 1997 and has lived as a successful scientist (microelectronics and photovoltaics) in California ever since.
Uwe Patzke co-founded the band Phallus Dei in 1969 when he was an art student. After the Gift group was dissolved, he worked for many years in the advertising industry (Head of Advertising at Fisher-Hifi / Sanyo Europe) but began to gain a foothold in creative work again. For years he has worked as a 3D sculptor / 3D designer / photographer and artist.
