Gil Haskel (* 1965 in Jerusalem ) is an Israeli diplomat .

Haskel studied psychology and political science at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he received a Bachelor of Arts .

During his diplomatic career, he held various positions in the Israeli foreign minister and worked at the Israeli embassies in Tokyo and New Delhi . Since 2011 he has been ambassador to Kenya , as well as non-resident ambassador for Uganda , Zambia , Tanzania , Malawi and the Seychelles .

Haskel is married and has four children.
