Gillian Bakker (* 1969 in Kelowna ) is a former Canadian triathlete and two-time Ironman winner (2001, 2003).

Career

Gillian Bakker speaks English , French , German and Spanish , has three university degrees and a black belt in karate .

She started as a professional triathlete in 2000 and was mainly active in long-distance Ironman competitions (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running).

In August 2005 she ended her active career.
