Belinda Jane Granger (born November 20, 1970 as Belinda Jane Smith ) is a former Australian triathlete and multiple Ironman winner.
Career
Belinda Smith started aquathlon in 1991 during her university studies, soon switched to triathlon and since 2003 she started as a professional triathlete.
In July 2013, Belinda Granger declared her career over after the Challenge Roth . In April 2014, however, she started again on the long distance at the Challenge Taiwan , where she finished third. She was trained by Brett Sutton and her nickname is "BG".
In March 2014, the then 43-year-old announced again that she would end her active career at the end of 2014 after more than twenty years. In 2015 she started again in the Ironman 70.3 races.
She has been married to triathlete Justin Granger (* 1971) since 1999 .
