Bree Wee
Bree Wee (* 17th December 1979 as Bree Myers in Hawaii ) is a former American triathlete . She is multiple Ironman (2011, 2017) and Ironman 70.3 winner (2012, 2014).
Career
Bree Wee grew up in Florida with her two brothers and six sisters .
In 2003 the teacher moved to Kona and started her first triathlon in September. She was trained by Paul Regensburg .
Ironman 2012 winner
In August 2012 she won the Ironman Louisville. In 2014 she was able to qualify for the fourth time for a starting place at Ironman Hawaii , where she finished 16th.
In June 2017 she was able to win the Ironman 70.3 Hawaii again after 2011. In October, the 37-year-old started in the Peacock Challenge in her first ultramarathon (approx. 88.5 km) and was able to win this race too. In December, a week before her 38th birthday, she finished 14th in the Honolulu Marathon .
Bree Wee has not appeared internationally since 2017. She lives in Kona with her husband and son .
