The Ironman 70.3 Hawaii is a triathlon competition of the Ironman 70.3 racing series, which is held by the World Triathlon Corporation on the island group of Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean .

Worldwide, the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC for short) awards races over a distance of 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running. The name is derived from the total distance of 113 km or 70.3 miles in a competition.

The Ironman 70.3 Hawaii has been held annually in May or June on the Koala Coast in the north of the island of Hawaii since 2005 . It is nicknamed "Honu" in honor of the Hawaiian green sea turtles.
In June 2012, the men's title here went to former American cyclist Lance Armstrong . In 2014, two Canadians stood at the top of the podium for the first time.
It has been held as an age group race since 2015 - i.e. H. there are no professional athletes at the start. The race was last held on June 1, 2019.
