Matt Lieto (born May 4, 1978 ) is an American triathlete .
Career
Matt Lieto started triathlon in 1998 after accompanying his older brother Chris to Ironman Hawaii .
It is very versatile and starts in triathlon on the short, medium and long distance, as well as in cross triathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon.
In August 2017, he finished 18th at the Aquathlon World Championship.
His older brother Chris Lieto (* 1972) was also active as a triathlete until 2012. Matt Lieto lives in Bend , Oregon.
