Linsey Corbin (born Linsey Pickel on February 16, 1981 in Greenbrae , California ) is an American triathlete and multiple Ironman winner. She is listed as the third fastest female athlete on the Ironman distance of American triathletes . ^{(As of April 24, 2020)}

Career

Linsey Pickel grew up in Bend, Oregon and in 2000 she moved to Montana . In 2008 she finished fifth as the fastest American woman at the Ironman Hawaii.

In June 2010, she scored her first long-distance win at the Ironman in Idaho (3.86 km swim, 180.2 km bike and 42.195 km run).

In September 2011 she finished third at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nevada .

Track record Ironman Austria 2014

In June she set a new course record with 8:42:42 hours at Ironman Austria and achieved the fastest time ever for a US athlete. In 2014 she qualified for the sixth time for a starting place at the Ironman World Championship in October.

With Ironman Canada, she won her sixth Ironman race in July 2017 and set a new course record with 9:17:12 h. In September 2018 she won the Ironman Wisconsin after 9:27:26 h with a new course record . In September 2019 she was able to win the Ironman Wisconsin again.

Linsey Corbin is married to the triathlete Chris Corbin .
