The Ironman Los Cabos is a triathlon sporting event held annually from 2013 to 2017 over the Ironman distance (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) in Los Cabos , the southernmost municipality ( municipio ) of the Mexican state Baja California Sur .

The race enabled qualification for a slot at Ironman Hawaii in October and it took place in March 2013 and 2014.

The Ironman Los Cabos has been held as a pure age group competition since 2015 in October - that is, the winners did not receive any prize money and no qualification points were awarded for the Kona Pro ranking.

No extension of this race has been announced for 2018.

At the same time, there has been a race over the middle distance (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running) on ​​the same day with the Ironman 70.3 Los Cabos since 2015.
