Giordana Angi
Giordana Angi (born January 12, 1994 in Vannes , France ) is an Italian Cantautrice (songwriter).
Career
Angi was born in France and grew up in the province of Latina . She first drew attention to herself in 2011 when she qualified for the newcomer category of the Sanremo Festival 2012 in the Sanremosocial competition . There she presented the song Incognita poesia , but was eliminated in the first round against the eventual winner Alessandro Casillo . At that time Angi had neither a producer nor a label behind her. It wasn't until 2016 that she made her debut with her first single Chiusa con te (xxx) on the Sugar Music label by Caterina Caselli ; the song was produced by Tiziano Ferro . Now the musician stepped up her activities and released two more songs in 2017: Bam Bam , the official song for Lazio Pride , and Amarti (qui ed ora) . At the Sanremo Festival 2018 she was involved as a songwriter in Nina Zilli's contribution Senza appartenere .
Angi finally became known to a larger audience through her participation in the 18th season of the casting show Amici di Maria De Filippi , in which she was able to place second behind Alberto Urso in 2019 . During this time her debut EP Casa was released by Universal . She was also active as a songwriter and contributed songs to Tiziano Ferro's album Accetto miracoli . In October 2019, Angi released her first studio album Voglio essere tua , which hit the top of the charts straight away.
