Felix Schäfer (* 1983 in Heidelberg ) is a German actor and director .

Life

Felix Schaefer grew up in Mannheim , where he also passed his Abitur. He then went Auckland , New Zealand to there community service to make. He lived in New Zealand for the next eight years, where he completed his drama studies from 2008 to 2011 at the Victoria University of Wellington , where he obtained a " Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts". He studied performing arts with a major in acting at the Unitec School of Performing and Screen Arts. After completing his bachelor's degree, he returned to Germany and moved to Berlin . Since then he has worked as an actor for film and television.

He made his cinema debut in a supporting role as Freddy in the romantic comedy Traumfrauen (2015) by director Anika Decker , with whom he worked again in High Society (2017). In the feature film debut of the director Tini Tüllmann , the thriller Freddy / Eddy (2016), he played the male double leading role , the painter Freddy, who is accused, his unfaithful girlfriend and theirs , alongside Jessica Schwarz , Katharina Schüttler and Alexander Finkenwirth To have brutally beaten lovers and his doppelganger Eddy.

He initially had episode roles in TV series in Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten (2018) and The Specialists - In the Name of the Victims (2018). In the 2nd season of the ZDF crime series SOKO Hamburg (2019) he took on one of the episode roles as management consultant Tobias Körner, where Alexander Finkenwirth was again his partner.

In 2019, Schäfer completed his first own feature film, the black comedy Da Down in Heaven with Roger Bonjour , Maximilian Dirr , Martin Langenbeck and Mario Mentrup in the leading roles, in which he is also a co-leading actor. He has lived in Berlin as a freelance actor since 2011.
