Roger Bonjour

Roger Bonjour (* 1985 in Biel ) is a Swiss actor .

Life

Roger Bonjour studied from 2009 to 2014 at the Zurich University of the Arts . In 2011 he was awarded the Migros Culture Percentage Study Prize and in 2012 a sponsorship prize from the Armin Ziegler Foundation. During his studies he performed at the Schauspielhaus in Zurich in 2012 . After completing his studies, he was given a permanent position at the Freiburg Theater from the 2013/2014 season . There he could be seen in Georg Büchner's drama Dantons Tod . In the 2014/2015 season he played the speaking role of Zuniga in the opera La Tragédie de Carmen by Peter Brook based on Georges Bizet at the Biel Solothurn Theater . He has been working as a freelance actor since the 2015/2016 season. In the 2017/2018 theater season he will play in a new production of the Greek legend Prometheus based on Aeschylus and Hesiod at the Jena Theater .

Roger Bonjour worked in several film and television productions . Among them was the Swiss feature film Peripherie in 2016, in which he played the main role of Vinc . In the television film Zwei Leben from the Tatort television series , he was seen in the “Schweizer Tatort” in 2017 with Stefan Gubser and Delia Mayer as Röbi assistants .
