Giorgi Papunashvili ( Georgian გიორგი პაპუნაშვილი ; born September 2, 1995 in Tbilisi ; FIFA spelling according to the English transcription Giorgi Papunashvili ) is a Georgian football player . The midfielder is currently under contract with Real Zaragoza but is currently loaned out to Racing Santander .
Career
society
Papunashvili gained experience in the Umaghlessi League , the highest Georgian league, at a young age . In the 2013/14 season he won the cup and championship double with the club . In the 2014/15 season , with 14 goals, he made a decisive contribution to the team being able to qualify for the Europa League , and he also won the trophy with him again. His achievements were not hidden from foreign talent scouts and so he was loaned out on July 27, 2015 for a year by the Werder Bremen U-23 team with a subsequent purchase option .
