Giovanni Conti (cardinal)

Giovanni Conti (* 1414 in Rome ; † October 20, 1493 ibid) was an Italian clergyman, Archbishop of Conza and cardinal of the Roman Church .

Life

Giovanni Conti was a member of the Conti family from Valmontone .

On January 26, 1455 he was appointed Archbishop of Conza. On October 1, 1484 he resigned as archbishop in favor of his nephew Niccolò. On 15 November 1483 he was the consistory that in St Peter's took place, from Sixtus IV. To Cardinal priests created.
