Giovanni Giannoni

Giovanni Giannoni (born December 31, 1948 in Serravalle (San Marino) ) is a San Marinese politician . He was from April 1 to October 1, 2003 together with Pier Marino Menicucci Capitano Reggente (Head of State of San Marino).

Life

Giannoni was a member of the Partito Socialista Sammarinese (PSS), for which he ran in the parliamentary elections in 1998, but could not win a mandate. In the 2001 election he was elected to the San Marinese Parliament, the Consiglio Grande e Generale , on the PSS list. In 2005 the PSS merged with the Partito dei Democratici (PD) to form the Partito dei Socialisti e dei Democratici (PSD), on whose list Giannoni was re-elected to parliament in the 2006 election. In the early parliamentary elections in 2008, he ran again for the PSD, but failed to make it into parliament. Giannoni joined the Partito Socialista Riformista Sammarinese (PSRS) founded in 2009 . He did not run in the 2012 election, in 2016 he ran for the Partito Socialista (PS) but was unable to win a seat.

Giannoni was elected Capitano Reggente for the period from April 1, 2003 to October 1, 2003 together with Pier Marino Menicucci . In 2003 he became one of the two Sindaci del Governo , in 2006 and 2007 he was re-elected. In 2006 he was a member of the Games Investigation Committee. In 2007 he was a member of the presidium of the PSD. From 2009 to 2014 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Azienda Autonoma di Stato di Produzione (AASP). In 2017 he was a member of the board of PS.
