Giovanni Puggioni
Giovanni Puggioni (born March 19, 1966 in Sassari ) is a former Italian sprinter .
He was Italian champion a total of six times: three times in the 200-meter run (1990 and 1997 and in the hall in 1991), twice in the 100-meter run (1995 and 1996) and once in the 60-meter run (1997).
Internationally, he mainly appeared in the 4 x 100 meter relay . His greatest achievement was winning the bronze medal at the World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 1995 . There the Italian relay reached the goal in 39.07 s behind the teams from Canada and Australia in the line-up Giovanni Puggioni, Ezio Madonia , Angelo Cipolloni and Sandro Floris . In addition, Puggioni won the 1997 season gold medal at the Mediterranean Games . There he also won a personal best of 20.44 s over 200 m.
Giovanni Puggioni is 1.77 m tall and had a competition weight of 70 kg.
