Girolamo Grillo (born August 18, 1930 in Parghelia , † August 22, 2016 in Rome ) was Bishop of Civitavecchia-Tarquinia .

Life

Girolamo Grillo was ordained a priest on April 25, 1953 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Cassano all'Jonio on April 7, 1979 . The Pope personally donated him episcopal ordination on May 27 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Curia Archbishops Duraisamy Simon Lourdusamy , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , and Eduardo Martínez Somalo , Substitute of the State Secretariat .

On December 20, 1983, he was appointed Bishop of Tarquinia and Civitavecchia . On December 21, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
