Gisa worm

Gisa Wurm , actually Gisela Wurm , (born October 8, 1885 in Winzendorf , Lower Austria , † August 10, 1957 in Vienna ) was an Austrian actress .

Life

She took acting lessons from Albert Heine and played in theaters in Kattowitz , Wiesbaden , Krefeld and Breslau . In 1923 she appeared as a "female comedian" in the theater and cabaret "Die Hölle" in the basement of the Theater an der Wien . In 1925 she came to the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna. She was already active in silent films, then in a total of 25 sound films by 1945, the producer was always Wien-Film . Her films include Immortal Melodies (1936), A Lifetime (1940), Aufruhr im Damenstift (1941) and the Hans Moser films Das Ferienkind und Schwarz auf Weiß (1943). After the war she was engaged at the Wiener Kammerspiele .

It rests in the Hietzinger Friedhof (group 42, number 9 B). The grave has already been abandoned and re-allocated.
