Gita Mehta
Gita Mehta (* 1943 in Delhi ) is an Indian writer and television producer.
She is the author of three books: Karma Cola , River Sutra , and Raj (Eng. The Maharani ). Her articles have been translated into 13 languages and published in 27 countries. She has also produced or directed 14 television documentaries for broadcasters in Europe and the United States .
She lives in New York , London and New Delhi . Her husband was the publisher Sonny Mehta (1942–2019). She is the daughter of the former Chief Minister of Orissa Biju Patnaik , her younger brother Naveen Patnaik has served as Chief Minister in the state since 2001.
