Giuseppe Bellusci (born August 21, 1989 in Trebisacce ) is an Italian football player who has been under contract with US Palermo since July 2017 .

Career

After the defender had spent his youth at Ascoli Calcio , he made his first appearances in Serie A under head coach Nedo Sonetti in the 2006/07 season . Bellusci made his debut on May 13, 2007 in the home game against US Palermo in the top Italian division, the game ended with a 3-2 win for Ascoli. End of the season he went with the team second last with 27 points in the series B from. In the following year, too, he was allowed to establish himself in the team, and the defensive player found himself almost exclusively on the bench. By the end of the season, there were two appearances in the league operations of the second division, each of which ended in a draw.

In the following season he worked out a regular place in the team and was in a total of 30 league games for his youth club. On February 7, 2009, he scored the first time in his professional career in the away game at US Triestina , the guests from Ascoli Piceno won the game 2-1. At the end of the season, the 16th place was recorded and the league was secured with a point ahead of the playout ranks. In the summer of 2009 Bellusci signed a five-year contract with the Sicilian club Catania Calcio . In the 2009/10 season , the defender completed twelve league games for Catania, but could not initially impose himself as a regular.

Bellusci completed a total of three international matches for the Azzurrini as a member of the Italian U-21 team .
