Giuseppe Castelli (bishop)
Giuseppe Castelli (born November 15, 1871 in San Gillio , † September 12, 1943 in Novara ) was an Italian Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Novara .
Life
The ordination received Giuseppe Castelli on June 8, 1895. He graduated in 1904 to study theology and became a priest in Cuognè .
On July 9, 1911, he was appointed Bishop of Susa . He was ordained bishop on October 28th of the same year by the Archbishop of Turin , Cardinal Agostino Richelmy ; Co- consecrators were the Turin auxiliary bishops Costanzo Castrale and Angelo Bartolomasi . On December 21, 1920 Giuseppe Castelli was transferred to the bishopric of Cuneo . He became Bishop of Novara on October 21, 1924.
Giuseppe Castelli died at the age of 71 and was buried in the Cathedral of Novara .
