Giuseppe Piemontese OFMConv (born April 24, 1946 in Monte Sant'Angelo , Province of Foggia , Italy ) is Bishop of Terni-Narni-Amelia .

Life

Giuseppe Piemontese joined the religious order of the Minorites and made temporary profession on September 8, 1967 . He received on 5 April 1971, the sacrament of Holy Orders . On October 8, 1977, the Piemontese made their perpetual profession.

On February 27, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Terni-Narni-Amelia. He was ordained episcopal on June 21st of the same year by the Archbishop of Perugia-Città della Pieve , Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti . Co-consecrators were his predecessor Vincenzo Paglia , Curial Archbishop and President of the Pontifical Council for the Family , and Ernesto Vecchi , Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus in Bologna and to that day Apostolic Administrator of Terni-Narni-Amelia.
