Ernesto Vecchi

Ernesto Vecchi (born January 4, 1936 in San Giovanni in Persiceto , Province of Bologna , Italy ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Bologna .

Life

Ernesto Vecchi was ordained a priest on July 25, 1963 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Lemellefa and auxiliary bishop in Bologna on July 18, 1998 . The Archbishop of Bologna, Giacomo Cardinal Biffi , donated him episcopal ordination on September 13 of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Curia Bishop Piero Marini and Claudio Stagni , Auxiliary Bishop in Bologna.
