Gjiri i Fteliasit (also Gjiri i Ftelias in Greek Όρμος Φτελιάς Órmos Fteliás ) is a bay on the coast of the Ionian Sea in the south of Albania and in the extreme northwest of Greece . The border between Albania and Greece runs through the bay . It is almost one and a half kilometers wide and around one kilometer deep. An approximately 150 meter narrow arm in the eastern, Greek part branches off from the main part of the bay over a kilometer to the east.

To the north of the bay rise the Korafi range of hills , which runs parallel to the coast for about 15 kilometers to the west and ends in Cape Stilo . In the bay is the island of Tongo , one and a half kilometers west of the smaller island of Stillo .

The bay is not accessible by land from the Albanian side; its water is rich in fish, corals , sea urchins and sponges . On the Greek side, roads lead to the bay and there are some houses on the shore. The Greek aquaculture facilities in the Bay produce sea bream , sea bass and Spitz bream .

The Albanian part of the bay, together with the Korafi range of hills, belongs to the Butrint National Park .
