action
Alexander Marcus is a successful pop star at the peak of his fame. His manager Sabine makes him dependent on the stimulating drug Egoin for control purposes, which gradually confuses him psychologically. The unshakable love for his partner Globi (a globe ) seems to be broken . During a performance in a disco, Marcus collapses as a result of an overdose of egoin, is then admitted to a mental hospital and immobilized for a long time. There he gets to know and love a box. However, a nurse from the clinic hides the box.
After various incidents in the clinic, Marcus finally manages to escape with the box, pursued by the scheming manager Sabine and some police officers. In the forest, the fugitive meets the harness maker, who gives Marcus shelter and attaches carrying straps to the box. The pop star finds further refuge in the house of a friendly family. The finale takes place on the street in front of the house: In an eloquent plea, Alexander Marcus manages to convince every doubter of his innocence and to spread the message of love.
