Jean Denis Römer (born June 13, 1967 in Berlin ) is a German film and theater actor and voice actor .

Life

JD Römer is the son of a toolmaker and a kindergarten teacher. He grew up in East Berlin . In the years 1977-79 he was a member of the boys' choir Omnibus and made numerous appearances, for example in Ein Kessel Buntes on GDR television . Among other things, he was a construction worker, professional soldier, security guard, high school graduate and house keeper. From the mid-1990s onwards he was involved in the youth club scene for a number of years.

From 1992 to 1996 Römer took private acting lessons from S. Wartmann and C. Rabahri. From 2000 to 2004 he was in acting training with Ilka C. Felcht. He played in many productions of the independent Berlin theater scene.
