The Glentoran Football Club , also known as Glentoran Belfast , is a Northern Irish football club in Belfast . The club is currently playing in the NIFL Premiership . The club colors are green-red-black.
history
The association was founded in 1882. Glentoran FC is one of the most successful clubs in Northern Ireland. The club won the championship for the first time in 1894. The club has been champion 24 times, cup winners 22 times and league cup winners seven times.

Youth Academy in Ghana
The club maintains with the Sunyani- based Glentoran Football Academy , a charity that also acts as an international farm team . The academy was founded in 2007 with the help of FIFA player agent Christopher Antoh Forsythe and the Belfast- based Ashfield Boys High School, with the aim of getting young people off the streets.
