Products
Glock's first firearm was the Glock 17 , which was developed in the early 1980s under the name P80 for the Austrian Armed Forces . Today there are a good 21 different Glock pistols, the design of which is always the same, but differ in caliber ( 9 mm to .45 ACP ) and other details (length 160–225 mm, magazine for 6–33 rounds).
The weapons were among the first to be developed with a plastic handle with only a few steel inserts. This fact initially earned the weapon the name "plastic pistol". These are self-loading pistols with a "Safe Action" trigger system, which compensates for the lack of an external safety device with three integrated safety devices. They are considered to be particularly reliable and easy to use.
In addition to the range of firearms, tactical light modules, holsters and knives from the Glock brand are available.
In addition, Glock produces the following items for various armies:
distribution
