Glorinha is a city with about 8,000 (2018 estimate) inhabitants in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil . It is located about 45 km east of Porto Alegre . Neighboring are the places Taquara in the north, Santo Antônio da Patrulha in the east, Viamão in the south and Gravataí in the west. Originally, Glorinha was part of the Gravataí municipality.
