Rolante is a city with around 21,200 inhabitants (as of 2018) in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil . It is located about 90 km northeast of Porto Alegre . Neighboring are the places Santo Antônio da Patrulha in the south, São Francisco de Paula in the north, Riozinho in the east and Taquara in the west. Originally Rolante was part of the Munizips Santo Antônio da Patrulha.
