The glp lab is a think tank of the Green Liberal Party in Switzerland . Since it was founded in 2016, the Zurich National Councilor and Co-President of the Cantonal Party, Corina Gredig, has been the leader, and National Councilor Kathrin Bertschy has been President and Patron.

The think tank maintains close links with Operation Libero , the foreign policy think tank Foraus - Forum Foreign Policy and the Austrian NEOS Lab , the think tank of the liberal NEOS party. He enjoys the support of celebrities like the comedian Viktor Giacobbo and the political geographer Michael Hermann .

Politically, the glp lab wants to «promote progressive-liberal ideas» and offer an entry point for those who are not interested in politics through the classic ox tour .

Thematically, the think tank deals with the living and working world of the future, with a new generation contract , with transparency in political funding and a modern, liberal drug policy .

The glp lab caused a stir with a proposal in the dispute between the Federal Council and the trade unions about a possible modification of the accompanying measures to protect wages within the framework of the free movement of persons with the EU.
