The Gmina Puchaczów is a rural community in the Powiat Łęczyński of the Lublin Voivodeship in Poland . Their seat is the village of the same name .
geography
The rural municipality is located in the middle of the Powiat Łęczyński and also roughly in the middle of the voivodeship. It has an area of 91.7 km². 75% of the municipal area is used for agriculture, 10% is covered with forest.
history
The municipality was called Gmina Brzeziny until 1954 , its seat was first in Brzeziny, later in Puchaczów and Milejów. From 1975 to 1998 the rural community belonged to the differently tailored Lublin Voivodeship .
