The Gmina Gąsawa is a rural community in the powiat Żniński of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the village of the same name ( German Gonsawa ) with about 1400 inhabitants.
history
In 1919 the municipality came to re-established Poland . The main town lost his 1934 city law . During the occupation (1939-1945) of the Second World War , the place was named Gerlingen (Wartheland) . Before the end of the war, the area came back to Poland.
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Bydgoszcz Voivodeship .
