The Gmina Nowosolna is a rural community ( gmina wiejska ) in the powiat Łódzki wschodni in the Łódź Voivodeship , Poland . The seat of the municipality is the village of Nowosolna , which does not belong to the municipality, but is a district of Łódź .
geography
The municipality is located east of the city of Łódź. It has an area of 53.98 km². 70% of the municipal area is used for agriculture, 23% is covered with forest.
history
From 1975 to 1998 the municipality was part of the Łódź Voivodeship .

The municipality includes the Sołectwo (school offices ) Boginia , Borchówka , Byszewy , Grabina , Kalonka , Kopanka , Ksawerów , Lipiny , Moskwa , Natolin , Nowe Skoszewy , Plichtów , Stare Skoszewy , Teolin and Wiączyń Dolny .
Other villages in the municipality are Borki , Bukowiec , Dąbrowa , Dąbrowka , Dobieszków , Głogowiec , Janów , Niecki and Wódka .

The municipality runs two primary schools ( szkoła podstawowa ) and one middle school ( gimnazjum ).
