The Gnadenkirche is an Evangelical Lutheran parish church in Fürstenfeldbruck .

History and present

The church building was inaugurated in July 1974 and was constructed from prefabricated aerated concrete parts from the company Hebel, which was then based in Emmering . The planning was done by the Munich architect Theo Steinhauser (1922–2014), the design of the ceiling paintings was done by Hubert Distler (1919–2004). Pulpit, altar, baptismal font and cross are works by Karl-Heinz Hoffmann from Feldafing; the bells were made at the Gebr. Borchert bell foundry in Bad Friedrichshall . There is a baptismal bell as well as a prayer and Our Father bell. The church building also has an organ , this was built by the organ builder Dieter Schingnitz (* 1940) from Bernried , the organ prospectus comes from Hubert Distler.

layout

The church interior is bright and open. The interior (except the organ) can be flexibly redesigned. A chapel and the community rooms are laid out around the church .

A kindergarten is also attached to the community .
