Goitseone Seleka gained her first international experience at the 2010 African Championships in Nairobi , where she was eliminated in the first round in the 800-meter run with 2: 31.74 minutes. The following year she took part in the Africa Games in Maputo over 400 meters for the first time and reached the semi-finals there, where she was eliminated with 55.58 s. At the African Championships in 2012 in Porto-Novo she was eliminated in the semifinals with 54.09 seconds and also won the silver medal behind Nigeria in the Botswana 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 31.27 minutes. With the relay, she qualified for the 2013 World Championships in Moscow , where she was eliminated with 3: 38.96 minutes in the lead-up. In 2014, she lost over 400 meters at the African Championships in Marrakech in 55.67 s in the run-up, with the Botswana relay she won the bronze medal in 3: 40.28 minutes behind Nigeria and Kenya. At the 2015 IAAF World Relays in the Bahamas , she finished fifth in the B final with 3: 35.76 minutes. At the Africa Games in Brazzaville , she was eliminated over 400 meters with 53.23 s in the semifinals and won the relay in 3: 32.84 minutes after the team from Nigeria was subsequently disqualified for a doping offense.
At the 2016 African Championships in Durban , she made it to the semi-finals, in which she was eliminated with 54.41 s, and with the 4 x 100 meter relay she reached fifth place in 46.10 s and was classified with the 4- times 400 meter relay in 3: 31.54 min in fourth place. At the IAAF World Relays 2017 , she competed in the mixed relay, but could not finish her run there. In 2018 she retired from the African Championships in Asaba with 56.17 seconds in the first round and finished fourth in the 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 42.16 minutes.
