Gulf Coast Plain
The Gulf of Mexico and the coastal plain.
The Gulf Coast Plain is a region in the United States . It covers the area between southern Texas via the Florida Parishes in Louisiana and two-thirds of Alabama to the Florida Panhandle . It also includes parts of Tennessee and Kentucky .

The forests are dominated by pines of the species swamp pine and Pinus elliottii in the south and Pinus echinata in the north. Also suitable incense pines before.
Under this layer is the " Gulf coastal aquifers " ( Gulf Coast Aquifer ), which results from the Chicot - Evangeline - Jasper - and Catahoula - aquifer composed, from Florida through Texas until after Mexico extends into and mostly over 100 Miles ( approx. 160 km) wide.
