The Goneri is a creek about 8.5 kilometers long in the Obergoms , which flows into the Rhone from the right near Oberwald .

The Gerewasser is the outflow of the Geren Glacier and rises at about 2500 m above sea level. M. The area is surrounded by three thousand as the Saashörnern , the Witenwasserenstock , the Pizzo Pesciora and the Pizzo Rotondo . Catchment area
The catchment area of the Goneri has a size of about 40 km². The highest point in the catchment area is the Pizzo Rotondo at 3,192 m above sea level. M.
The entire catchment area is only sparsely populated.
