action
In his film John Nesbitt accuses the disappearance of the small country schools in America and, looking back, remembers his school days and the strict but beloved teacher Miss Turlock. Nesbitt talks about classmates and that Miss Turlock apparently had eyes on the back of her head. When the town is connected to the highway, Miss Turlock's school is closed in 1940 and the significantly aged teacher retires. On their last day of school, Nesbitt's now grown-up classmates gather in the school building and say goodbye to Miss Turlock, as does the traditional multi-year school.
