Gorgos (potter)
Gorgos (Γώργος) was a Greek potter who lived around 480 BC. Was active in Athens.
He is only known by his signature on a small red-figure bowl from the Athens Agora (now Athens, Agora Museum P 24113). The attribution to a particular painter is controversial, mostly the bowl was attributed to the Berlin painter , but more recently to another unknown painter.
