Euxitheos was the owner of a workshop in which mainly bowls and craters were made. All of his works that are still preserved today have been found in Etruria , since a large part of Attic production was exported there.

Euxitheos employed a number of well-known vase painters in his workshop, including Euphronios . Not least with this he tried to develop new forms of depictions on craters. Originally invented by the potter and black-figure vase painter Exekias , both of them adapted the style to the new demands of red-figure vase painting. The culmination of their joint work is that of around 515 BC. Chr. Created Sarpedonkrater signed, the two artists.

Another important vase painter who worked in Euxitheos' workshop was Oltos . He painted two bowls and an amphora of Euxitheos.
