Kachrylion
Kachrylion (also Chachrylion ) was an Athenian potter of the late 6th century and early 5th century BC. Chr.
In his workshop, Kachrylion mainly produced flat drinking bowls ( kylikes ). In his workshop he employed some of the most important painters of early red-figure painting, including Euphronios, one of the most important representatives of the so-called pioneer group . In addition, the older master Oltos worked with him , who taught many of the young painters in Kachrylion's workshop the art. Today, 30 signed works by him are known, 29 bowls and one plate.
