Paidikos ( Greek  Παιδικός ; translates as "childish, boyish") is a name of an Attic - red-figure potter and vase painter been interpreted, the v in the last quarter of the 6th century. Was active in Athens .

The only one signed by him as a potter ( ἐποίησεν ) is a white-ground alabastron in Paris , after which the group of Paidikos alabastra is named. Since the Parisian Alabastron cannot be separated from the Alabastra des Pasiades in terms of shape and type , John D. Beazley considered whether Paidikos was just a nickname for the Pasiades. The name Paidikos without a signature still occurs on bowls , the decoration of which comes from the Euergides painter or is stylistically close to him.

The attributive word προσαγορεύω ( prosagoreuo , "I greet") is added to the potter's signature on the Paris vase , which can also be found on a number of other stylistically similar alabastra and bowls without his signature. Most of them correspond in style to the Parisian vase and can be assigned to the Euergides painter and his environment. Since the verb is otherwise uncommon to ascribe works, the vessels probably all come from the Paidikos workshop.

The signature of Paidiko as a vase painter ( ἔγραψσεν ) is only documented on a bowl in Baltimore , on which a man is shown drinking from a bowl.
