Hegesiboulos painter
The Hegesiboulos painter was a Greek vase painter of the red-figure style , active in Athens around 460 BC. Chr.
It got its emergency name after a bowl signed by the potter Hegesiboulos in New York, Metropolitan Museum Inv. 07.286.47. Inside it shows an old man with a dog, outside the symposium and Komos . The fragment of an Olpe from the Athens Acropolis (Inv. Akr. 538) is also attributed to him, which is also a symposium.
